Magical beauty around :)

Ankola is a place to rewind with semi-rocky mountains and pristine beach    We planned this trip because of a resort in Ankola called "Honey Beach Resort" http://www.honeybeach.in/index.htm This resort is located at a beach front with all the cottages facing the beautiful beach. Food is also very good and the open sided circular gazebo at the resort is the place where your taste buds are to be tantalized with our wide range of multi cuisine delights.   DAY 1 : This was a weekend trip... We travelled from Bangalore to Hubli by Train and morning by a mini bus to Ankola.. The place is a little interior and difficult to reach by our own. Once we reached we freshened up and had our lunch first!!!! Jaipur city , The first thought i had about this place is the awesome food and culture they have.. :)  We planned for a whole week holiday in Jaipur.... We started from Bangalore airport in the morning and reached in the afternoon. The flight is of 4 hours as it had a transit in Mumbai.  DAY 1 :  Day 1 started with a traditional rajasthani thali for lunch at the Ratan Haveli where we stayed..  The old haveli is full of rajasthani culture.We took some time to check out the Haveli, It had a Bawdi which is a small pool to have bath, A temple and beautifully designed rooms in rajasthani style.. In the evening we went this amazing Light & Sound show at Amer fort. There are 2 shows - Hindi and English We went for the Hindi show which was at 8:30 in the evening. The show lasts for an hour and it depicts the whole story of the fort. I was remembering the history classes ;). Pottery town in Bangalore is one of a place for photography interests!!! This place is in the heart of Bangalore near Frazer town. The whole street is full pottery vendors... Wheels making pottery , drying them in a symmetric way and finally burn them to make the final product. The pots are then painted using spray paints and kept at the shops...

Jog Falls is among the most famous attraction in Karnataka. The highest waterfall in India are situated at a distance of around 100 Km from Shimoga City.
