Adventure Coorg Trip!!!!!
After long planning this trip is a success now....
COORG is a perfect place to chill out this summer time!!! The misty mountains, rains,cold evenings with a hot cup of coffee makes it all perfect.
We started here from Bangalore early in the morning... As usual breakfast @ KAMAT in Ramanagar.
Day1 :
On the way we had lunch at Veerabhoomi near Kushalnagar which is a theme restaurant.
Veerabhoomi is a unique tourist village with an Ambience of Battle Field Camp Tent like Cottages.
After lunch we checked in to the home-stay (Mount View). Started with a hot cup of coffee and Pakoras and enjoyed the evening gazing at the mountain view.
Dinner was arranged at the home-stay... Home food totally coorgi style!!!
Day 2 :
Day 2 is the most exciting...Never thought of such adventure till we actually did it!!!!
"Now or Never Land" in virajpet has an amazing set of adventure activities for those who need an adrenaline rush!!!
JUNGLE GYM
India’s only treetop aerial assault course......
It’s a giant obstacle course up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and topped off with the country's best zip lines - the longest is over 200 feet long!
Handling, loading and firing an air rifle is an amazing experience. One you will never forget.
They also have ATV mountain bikes , Paintball and Zipping
Dinner @ homestay and today's special was rice roti with Brinjal subzi....
Day 3 :
We set back to Bangalore after breakfast......
On the way attractions that we visited ....
Madikeri Rajaseat... - Raja's Seat is a small pavilion with a garden surrounding it; offering a view of the green valley below.According to legend, the kings of Coorg spent their evenings here. The spectacular sunset and the far stretching blue mountains will take ones breath away.
The Toy train is also a main attaction for kids here... It takes 2 rides around the park reminding us of our childhoodEast End Restaurant... - One of the oldest places for good food in Madikeri!!! It serves good authentic coorgi food that you crave for... :)
