JaiPur - The Pink City of Rajasthan....

Jaipur city , The first thought i had about this place is the awesome food and culture they have.. :)  We planned for a whole week holiday in Jaipur.... We started from Bangalore airport in the morning and reached in the afternoon. The flight is of 4 hours as it had a transit in Mumbai.  DAY 1 :  Day 1 started with a traditional rajasthani thali for lunch at the Ratan Haveli where we stayed..  The old haveli is full of rajasthani culture.We took some time to check out the Haveli, It had a Bawdi which is a small pool to have bath, A temple and beautifully designed rooms in rajasthani style.. In the evening we went this amazing Light & Sound show at Amer fort. There are 2 shows - Hindi and English We went for the Hindi show which was at 8:30 in the evening. The show lasts for an hour and it depicts the whole story of the fort. I was remembering the history classes ;). Pottery town in Bangalore is one of a place for photography interests!!! This place is in the heart of Bangalore near Frazer town. The whole street is full pottery vendors... Wheels making pottery , drying them in a symmetric way and finally burn them to make the final product. The pots are then painted using spray paints and kept at the shops...

Jog Falls and Shimoga Wildlife Sanctuary

Jog Falls is among the most famous attraction in Karnataka. The highest waterfall in India are situated at a distance of around 100 Km from Shimoga City. Though the distance is long, but traveling to the falls is worth you every minute. Located on the banks of Tunga River, the fertile land of Shimoga had been a coveted booty for most of the great kingdoms of Karnataka. The name of the city is derived from the term Shiva-Mukha, meaning Face of Shiva The Jog falls is created by the Sharavati river tumbling down from a height of 829ft. (253m) in four distinct cascades - known locally as Raja, Rani, Roarer, and Rocket. Tyarekoppa Lion Safari Tyarekoppa Lion Safari is a great place to enjoy the unaltered nature and wildlife. Situated at a distance of 10 Km from Shimoga, Tyarekoppa Lion safari was established in the year 1988. Forest department organizes safaris regularly into the deep jungles.
