Ankola... Beach Resort

Ankola is a place to rewind with semi-rocky mountains and pristine beach 

 

We planned this trip because of a resort in Ankola called "Honey Beach Resort"

This resort is located at a beach front with all the cottages facing the beautiful beach.

Food is also very good and the open sided circular gazebo at the resort is the place where your taste buds are to be tantalized with our wide range of multi cuisine delights.

 
DAY 1 :

This was a weekend trip... We travelled from Bangalore to Hubli by Train and morning by a mini bus to Ankola.. The place is a little interior and difficult to reach by our own.

Once we reached we freshened up and had our lunch first!!!! We were overwhelmed by the tasty food (may be we were very hungry ;)) 
After checking out the place and the beach we made our plans and waited for the sun to go down so that we can play in the beach.. meanwhile had little nap and were ready to jump into the beautiful beach.......
The whole evening we played around and had to leave the waters once it was dark.

The resort offers CAMPFIRE in the evening with  a tribal dance show....

After nice long dinner all of us headed to the disc and danced away the night... 







DAY 2 :

The second day everyone was waiting to get into the beach.. A long walk on the beach was also amazing.. :) :)

Once we filled our heart with the beach.. we finally had to check out from the resort after lunch...... 

We managed to get some time off all this just to sit on those rocky beach , Chat and read a book :) :) That was one of the best times for me... :):)

    Very interesting place, and coincidentally am going there. Could you tell how did you reach the resort from the bus stand or railway station? Are there autos? How much did it cost? We intend to walk from the station at it seems to be a nice green place to walk through.

    I am planning to go there with my wife. Is it a good place for couples?And what is the best way to reach there through bus or train?I find that there are KSRTC buses from bangalore. Is train better option than bus?

    Travelling is the best way to get relaxation and enjoyment. Its very beautiful and amazing tourist destination for everyone. I really like to spend my time in this type of interesting place with my family or friend.

    If you are waiting for best time to visit the Coorg then you should go there during monsoon.
